Laura Evans
Primary Accompanist

Laura grew up in a musical family, with children, grandparents, and parents being both amateur and professional musicians. Our family band includes piano, cello, violin, french horn, trumpet, alto sax, guitar, clarinet, and trombone. Laura earned a BA from Barnard College of Columbia University and sang with the Columbia University Glee Club for four years. She studies piano with Roberto Poli in Boston, and also at Rivers Conservatory, and was Musical Director and pianist for AR Gurney’s “Scenes from an American Life” put on by Cape Ann Shakespeare Troupe in 2016. She has played at Rockport UU since 2014, as soloist, accompaniest, and this Easter, performing “Ode to Joy!” with the UU congregation children.
