Be an Off-taker for the excess solar generated electricity from UUSR’s solar panels

Panel Sharing is what we call it!  It is as if some of the solar panels on UUSR’s rooftop were in fact sitting on your own roof, generating electricity from the sun to power your home.   Look for brochures in the Vestry about engaging in a process known as “Schedule Z” whereby bill credits that would be awarded to the church for excess solar electricity production will be awarded to your personal electric utility account.  Five UUSR members and friends will be selected to partake in this inaugural process for 12 months over the year 2026.   In return, the church will solicit a donation equal to 90% of those bill credits.   That means 10% of those credits are ultimately free!  Your total annual bill for your residential electricity consumption will be reduced, all on account of environmentally-friendly electricity generation.
