We welcomed back the Reverend Jamie Green Klopotoski to UUSR’s pulpit this Sunday service. She inspired our congregation with a sermon about “forgiveness” under unimaginable circumstances, based on examples of the Israeli-Gaza conflict. This will be remembered as the “A Capella” sermon, with angelic singing voices periodically accenting the inspiring spoken words.

Jamie was ordained in the UCC church, while holding the positions of Education and Youth Ministers, at the Needham Congregational Church. There she energetically vitalized the youth education program, conducted vibrant, popular and well-attended youth ministry programs for the Junior and Senior high youth groups, and introduced a highly subscribed after school program for sixth grade students. She is also a highly talented musician who masters many instruments, teaches at the O’Malley middle school in Gloucester, and operates a nonprofit that engages youth from around Cape Ann in music performances for audiences all over New England.
Our talented “house band” Headlands added a rousing musical complement to the morning service.
