Rev Susan will be in the pulpit every Sunday during the month of February, with the theme being AGING. This Sunday happens to fall on Groundhog Day. Do you remember the movie with the same name, starring Bill Murray? He experiences Groundhog Day over and over again until he has a complete personality change. He transforms from a self-centered jerk to a generous, compassionate and humble human being. I think aging can bring us to a similar level of emotional maturity and acceptance without having to repeat one day over and over again. Or maybe not.
