This Sunday, May 1, Rev Susan will be interviewing the Chief of the Rockport police, as part of the Getting to Know our Neighbors series. Chief John has been involved with our community several times over the years of his service. He and another officer were present as security for the UUSR vigil after the Pulse nightclub shooting, he and his team presented an emergency shooter response training at the UUSR and the Rockport Baptist church. He has also hosted a group of UUSR members at the police station for an implicit bias training similar to the ones that the police officers received. He also sat for an interview by some ECCO North participants regarding police activity. He started a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee in Rockport last Spring and is looking forward to joining us. Laura Evans will be tickling the ivories and we will sing some well known and beloved hymns. Join us!

It is wonderful to see so many people coming into the sanctuary on any given Sunday; but it is also important to offer a good virtual worship experience. We now have a tech team and the Zoom sound and viewing quality has been vastly improved. If you have ever tried to attend a worship service virtually and found it disappointing, please log on again!
